Downtown’s evolution

Public policies have encouraged private development. Think the past decade’s changes were something? Just wait.

From our perch along Campbell Avenue, we will delight in watching our next-door neighbor, the Crystal Tower, transform the 78,000 square feet of former office space into 70 apartments, just as we have been tickled to witness the metamorphosis in our corner of Roanoke.

It’s been quite an evolution. Those who stayed away from downtown Roanoke during the past decade might not recognize the place.
