Holy moly, it’s early for holly jollies

Well, it seems as though that time of year has arrived again — albeit earlier than ever — or does it just seem that way?

Of course, I’m referring to the pre-Thanksgiving onslaught of Christmas-related ads, commercials, songs, etc., that have mercilessly muscled in to take the place of all those campaign ads we were so glad to see disappearing into our collective rearview mirrors.
