To fix Washington, fix the filibuster
Tim Kaine and other senators supported filibuster reform on the campaign trail. They have little time to do it.
America still basks in the post-election glow. Victors promise a new era of bipartisan cooperation and an end to gridlock. They might even mean it.
Senators, at least, could prove their sincerity immediately with serious filibuster reform in January.
