Trash the excuses on recycling

If Roanoke County were run like a business, it’d respond differently to overflowing recycling bins.

Last week, Roanoke County officials made a stink about people trashing their recycling centers. When bins are stuffed, people litter the parking lots with all their paper, plastic and glass.

The solution, the county officials said, is for people to put that stuff back in their cars and cart it to another center or back home.
