Leave politics out of the holiday parade

I recently joined a few thousand festive spirits kicking off the season at Blacksburg’s solstice parade and tree lighting.

    Amen.

    I have never been a fan of political messages during a parade. Even VT’s homecoming parade has politicians marching and handing out candy with “vote for x candidate.”
