Leave politics out of the holiday parade
By Christian Trejbal
I recently joined a few thousand festive spirits kicking off the season at Blacksburg’s solstice parade and tree lighting.
Excuse me. I mean, of course, the town’s holiday parade. So goes the politically correct war on the solstice.

Amen.
I have never been a fan of political messages during a parade. Even VT’s homecoming parade has politicians marching and handing out candy with “vote for x candidate.”
