Looking for evil in the wrong places

My heart cries out in anguish for the living and dead of Newtown, Conn., even as my mind grows numb with the effort to understand these events. I am not alone in trying to cope by understanding how it came to be that a young, troubled man killed so many bright spirits so efficiently, and then himself.
