My land is not for the taking

By Sandra J. Felts

I am extremely grateful that the eminent domain amendment to Virginia’s Constitution passed. I’m writing to let my voice be heard. My front lawn along with my Dad’s and brother’s are going to be condemned by the Virginia Department of Transportation, for we do not want to sell our property for a road-widening project.

 Felts lives in Austinville.
