Roll over, Grover
The state must stop digging itself deeper into a transportation funding shortfall.
D.C. lobbyist Grover Norquist holds no elected office in Virginia nor anywhere else.
His letter this week to state lawmakers ordering them to kill a proposal that would tie the gas tax to inflation should have been summarily stuffed into File13.

The sooner, the better when Grover’s name becomes obscure in our minds and government. He has really helped us understand how imbecilic some of our Represenatives and Senators we have running our government.
He’s one of several people who create a dilemma for me. I know he likes the publicity, and I hate to give it to him. But I also hate to let his pronouncements go unchallenged.
#2 Of course you do. Let’s create a devil to “our” progressive narcissism.
So good of you to fight your inner deamons.
We all now our only hope is to increase (over & over again) taxes.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
