As Amtrak arrives in Norfolk, we remain wistful for passenger rail.

It’s hard to maintain your railroad town creds without a passenger train. And let’s face it, Roanoke is growing weary waiting on its train.

Sure, we’re happy to climb aboard Norfolk’s celebration this week with the return of Amtrak there, but we’ll admit to being more than a bit envious. We want our train, too.
