It was over the top IMO, how on earth are domestic partners going to be asked to “prove it”?

I literally had to send them a copy of our marriage certificate, proof of a joint bank account, proof of joint ownership of our home, proof of joint car insurance, proof of joint homeowner’s insurance, and a Driver’s License or other ID that proved we lived at the same address.
