Thank goodness for the National Rifle Association. In the wake of the monstrous shooting of small children in Newtown, Conn., the NRA director has come up with a plan. He said that in order to keep a bad guy with a gun from doing what Adam Lanza did, we need a good guy with a gun in every school. But he did not go quite far enough.
Just where else would a bad guy find those little 6-year-old children – on the bus, in the park, day care, in grocery stores with their mothers. Surely we need good guys with guns in all those places.
