Jim,

1 - why?

2 - what's your point?

3 - I maintain that there is no difference in governance between either of the two major parties or their candidates. The differences - which qualify as non-governance differences - are that the adoring democratic acolytes of Obama disparaged Bush for being a warmonger, and the adoring GOP acolytes of whatever bilge the GOP produces disparage Obama for being a warmonger. Meanwhile, Americans continue to die for vague and/or no reason, the US continues to interfere in the affairs of sovereign foreign nations, and we continue to create, through our arrogant belligerence enemies and terrorists, and we continue to wonder why they hate us.

Jim, it is too simplistic to say that the blowback is a result of their hating us; rather, it is the manifestation of it...but why do they hate us? (oh yeah...because we're free (a condition Presidents Bush and Obama have tried and are trying to correct)...please).

1. Beside the point.

2. Obama has been president 4 years.

3. How do you now feel about your no difference between the candidates/parties ideology....post election?

89HOO..thanks

And yeah, I see the fact that "they" hate us and there, as a result, is/will be/can be "blowback". But in Libya, did we not protect some of the same peeps from Qaddahfi's military/air force..and not unilaterally?

If they "hate us" for the "Afghanistans"(insert your country here) why would we not experience any blowback love too? Is it because the Arab is not capable of such thought/reasoning...I dunno.

So the end result, it seems, would be let nations of the mideast and Africa, mid Asia fall into the hands of terrorists, fundamentalists and expect/hope they keep their "antics" "over there".

Would/could the USA and western types be able to ignore the strife?

3 - Bud, to put it simply, if Americans had not been intervening in Libya (and Iraq, and Afghanistan, and...(insert hotspot here)), trying to overthrow/install this puppet tinpot or another...

...then Americans could not have been killed while intervening and trying to overthrow/install this puppet tinpot or another.

It sounds bizarre, I know, to claim that if someone is not physically in a space, then he cannot be killed in that space. A strange anomaly of physics, it seems, but true.

Benghazi (and Algeria, and 9-11) are textbook examples of blowback (pause while the twelve-year olds giggle at the term 'blowback'), a direct result of American and western interventionin the affairs of others. We install one crackpot, support him a war against his neighbor, switch sides, support some insurgents (while painting them as noble 'freedom fighters'), learn that the noble 'freedom fighters' are little better than thugs themselves, support their overthrow...

...and then act with false outrage and shock when they get pissed at us and blow up a building, or kill some diplomats. And then we try to deflect blame when the sh__ hits the fan, and claim that "they hate us because we're free" (the second dumbest claim ever made), or blame a poorly made, stupid 'movie' (the dumbest claim ever made).

No, they hate us because we won't leave them alone.

It's insane. It's been standard American foreign policy since...well...the mid-1800s at least, but ramped up even more since the 1970s (when we suddenly gained maximum 'flexibility' in our ability to fund such adventures).

Yes, Madam Secretary it matters. Your histrionics and reaction do not include a review of these policies, and I cannot and will not believe either your outrage, your tears, or your resolve. Blood is on YOUR hands...

...as well as those of your boss, and his last many predecessors. We have simply got to get out of other nations' business.

Hillary's hissy-fit; I take full responsibility (but don't ask me any questions).

We must make sure this never happens again (but what difference does it make how it happened?).

She again lied about not blaming "the video" while crying crocodile tears about hugging people as the dead returned.

At the very occasion, she once again blamed the video.
