“President Obama withdrew the White House welcome mat to visitors wanting to drop in for a tour.”

President Doom and Gloom insisted that cutting even $44 billion from the budget this fiscal year will cause agonizing pain, airport security waits, uninspected meat, and uneducated children.

Since none of those things have happened, the Sequesterer-in-Chief decided he needed a more immediate way of making his point. So he decided to deny school children a chance to view America’s House!

This act instead of inspiring public outrage against the GOP, backfired and showed the pettiness of the Obama administration. Of all the things the WH could cut, were WH tours all that Obama could come up with?

How about cutting the three WH calligraphers who earn together $277,000 a year? But then I am sure they are more important than the tours as Michelle needs those pretty hand written invitations for her WH dinner parties!

Or maybe Obama could cut back on his flights to sunny CA to play golf with celebrities. Cutting the WH tours save an amount equal to about the cost of two hours of operating Air Force One.

Cutting the WH tours have turned out to be a PR blunder since a video of a group of sixth graders from St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Waverly, Iowa, went viral on YouTube pleading with Obama to reopen the tours crying “The White House is our house. Please let us visit,”.

Since then the Obama has softened his doom and gloom message! He over reached and his approval ratings have fallen.

    1. You may be right John R. but I’m sure Obama is preparing another batch of Kool-aid for the 51% that love to lap it up. His approval ratings will rise again among the low information crowd.

JimW, I thought it was 47%?!
