Comment on Radmacher's column

The Big Truth about Bush
By Dan Radmacher

Every once in awhile, someone nails a Big Truth that makes a number of things click into place. In a speech to the Brookings Institution last week, Democratic Rep. Rahm Emanuel nailed a very big truth, kind of a unified theory of Bush.

One simple question, for you Dan. If Bush is showing such unprincipled partisanship, WHY would he persist with a war you say sunk Republicans in 2006.

Quoting Rahm Emmanuel, one of the most partisan thugs in memory, is SO laughable.

Bush has bent over backwards, too far in fact, to include Democrat goals during his administration. He worked with Ted Kennedy on the Education bill, he and the AARP wrote the prescription drug bill, and he asked for and got the U.N. to sanction invasion in Iraq by force before he went in.

Bush resurrected the moribund career of that phony red-nosed philanderer, Bill Clinton by allowing him to help with tsunami relief. Bush has had nothing but kind words for Clinton who has done nothing but badmouth this administration.

You call him partisan, but Bush rarely speaks harshly about Democrats. Yet Democrats have called him every hateful name in the book, even comparing him with Hitler.

You can't unite with people who don't want unity.

Really--I don't mean this personally- I mean it objectively,,but in light of the veracity of some of his recent writings, Dan commenting on THE BIG TRUTH is like me writing on care and upkeep of jet engines.
