ericWhat happened to personal responsibilty ? if you choose NOT to read a label , well then you might also NOT read a description on the label that says chocolate flavored rather than chocolate. The FDA should make sure that labels are accurate and complete ( which they do not do now) and let the consumer beware.
This article was almost difficult to respond to with the proper amount of vehemence appropriate to your other columns. Maybe i should add something about liberals and conservatives, or maybe the religious implications of chocolate eating. I bet George Bush eats chocolate . . . .

If the big chocolate makers were confident their imitation chocolate would sell without using the name "chocolate," they wouldn't be asking to change the rules.
