Igniting a passion for reading

For Sunday, we'll be writing about recent studies that show a troubling decline in reading among teens - and even adults. What can be done to ignite a passion for reading among today's youth?

I think we should enact a government program to combat the reading crisis that was brought to light by this taxpayer-funded NEA study.

I don't think we should investigate or get a second opinion. I consider the matter closed.

Good one Josh.

I’m pretty sure we should form a council made up of members of law enforcement, schools, social service groups, etc.

I have another plan. Since the WV children loooove Pat Controy books we should just burn all other books and cut to the chase so every kid will read every book.

Note: apologies for any grammatical errors.

*Such profound responses are almost beyond comment and should only be taken at face value. Terry’s is indeed one of them. -Will

I look forward to reading this commentary on Sunday. Improving our reading skills always has great benefits especially in the younger set, and it certainly applies to us older folks too. The RT is commended for the forthcoming commentary.
