BUBBATo hell with them and any lame brain that wants to free them. They are all enemies of the US and of freedom to some degree or another. Why don't those who want to "give them "said" rights" move to Iraq and live in a cave with them. The US does not need the likes of such people. Now, gimme another beer!

JoshThis is a travesty. Decisions like this where you give even more rights to terrorists by now allowing attention-seeking leftwing trial lawyers to make a sideshow of the process is exactly why we need Republicans to win in November.
Appointing rational USSC justices is so critical. It's the only way we can counter intellectually inferior people like Ruth Ginsberg. Of course it's not guaranteed McCain will do the right thing, it's a certainty we'd get another lemon if Obama gets to nominate people for the Supreme Court.
America can't afford another leftist justice. We need to move out of the 19th century and into the 21st.

MichelleI believe the word “some” was used here to describe the rights afforded to our Gitmo guests under our Constitution. In short, they will now have access to our judicial system to challenge their status as an enemy combatant. Big deal.
While I am sure that the majority of those enjoying an extended holiday in Cuba compliments of the U.S would rather decapitate any one of us rather than look at us, there may actually be a few who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If this discussion had taken place four years ago, I would not feel the same as I do now. How many of us would like to be mistaken for a terrorist while traveling abroad and thrown in some foreign prison for six years before being granted a trial? Six years is a long time. If they weren’t Islamic extremists before, I’m sure six years at Gitmo has done wonders for their outlook on life. This whole matter should have been over and done by now. If they’re guilty, punish them. If not, give them a one way ticket back to wherever they came from.
