July 3, 2008Dilbert's take on the presidential election
When it comes to picking our next president, I can't decide if I prefer the smooth-talking, inspirational candidate who promises to give my money to people who don't work as hard as I do, or the old, short, ugly, angry guy with one good arm who graduated at the bottom of his class and somehow managed to shag a hot heiress and become a contender for president. It seems dangerous to underestimate that guy. |

Dilbert's take on the presidential election
From the Dilbert blog, creator Scott Adams sums up his feelings about the presidential election :
When it comes to picking our next president, I can't decide if I prefer the smooth-talking, inspirational candidate who promises to give my money to people who don't work as hard as I do, or the old, short, ugly, angry guy with one good arm who graduated at the bottom of his class and somehow managed to shag a hot heiress and become a contender for president. JimEven if McCain has been angry, I doubt he followed people who God-damned America, ignoredthe Second Amendment, or wanted to converse with terrorists.

Ed S.Jim, one correction.
If a man walks down the street, sees a duck in the middle of the road, and continues walking...he's ignoring the duck.
If the same man sees the duck in the street, then proceeds to chase down, beat horrifically, and basically try to flatten the duck by stomping on it...he is *not* ignoring the duck.
It would probably be better to say "spat on the Second Amendment", or "infringed on the Second Amendment", or something that would equally apply to the hypocritical A"CL"U.

NickI'm glad to see that Scott Adams gets it. It's a shame that out of 300 million people that we don't have a better choice for Prez. It's boiled down to Bob Dole lite or Jimmy Carter II. Sad. That being said, it's probably a better bet to go with the guy who has more takeoffs than landings in his Navy jet fighter logbook. Let's face it, the other guy is a Marxist, no question about it. I'm so amazed that so many (including the Times) are in the tank for Obama. How about it Dan and company, how can you possibly think that Marxism is the answer to what ails the USA at this moment in time? I don't get it.
