BUDJust a quick note to one and all to have a safe and happy 4th of July weekend--if traveling take your time--we'll wait for you. And maybe look to find one thing you can do to make your community better and IMPLEMENT! Peace.

HenryPresident Bush, speaking at an immigration event, is rushed by an Obama Code Pink member. Code Pink is openly supporting Barak Hussein Obama.

HenryThe confusion was not his fault, Mr. Obama said, but rather the media’s for seizing on three words he uttered in Fargo, N.D., when he suggested he would be open to “refine my policies” on Iraq.

In short, the media is to blame because people were confused about Obama's take on Iraq. He didn't misspeak. He said he would refine his policies but they would remain the same.
It's so simple. I don't know why journalists can't keep up. You guys are confusing us.

Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas is withholding his money from Obama until Markos sees "good behavior" from the candidate. Imagine....

AJHenry,
I think you need to reread the definition of the word "refine".
It certainly does not mean "to change". Those who jumped on Obama's words are sadly deficient in their ability to understand the English language. That is not his fault, it is theirs.

JimAnti-Constitutional legislation in CA has BANNED all lead ammo, including the ubiquitous .22 rimfire. That's right. These are EXACTLY the kind of policies that an Obama presidency would implement. Won't see this reported in the RT.

JimEnriched uranium for WMD was exported from Iraq this past week to Canada proving that the US had a good reason to enforce UN resolutions. Won't read that in the RT.
Recently, Bush has pressured North Korea to stop nuclear arms production. Won't read that in the RT.
Yesterday Iraq's Prime Minister stated that terroists have been defeated in Iraq owing in part to coalition troops. The highest office is claiming victory proving our efforts are not in vain unless we retreat under Democrat policy. Won't read this in the RT.
Happy 4th!

Dan RadmacherJim,
That was yellowcake uranium that we knew Saddam had. It was under IAEA seal and closely monitored prior to the invasion (after the invasion, controls were far looser, and dangerous material was lost).
You did read about the North Korea nuclear deal in The Roanoke Times (I'll check the archives when I get into work, but I'm pretty certain that was on the front page).
And if the terrorists have been defeated in Iraq, can we declare victory (again) and bring the troops home?
UPDATED: I checked our archives: We had three news articles on the North Korea deal, one on the front page, plus a column by Jay Ambrose praising President Bush for the deal.

JimDan, many troops will be on the way home as violence falls even as troop levels are reduced. Aren't you glad we succeeded?
