Either fill copy and fill out the form that follows after the jump, or download this Excel file, and e-mail it to us to enter. We’ll put our picks up Tuesday morning, then announce the winner here after the election. The winner will receive a $30 gift certificate.

C. TrejbalI'm amazed that our regular posters have refrained from entering the contest. Could it be that for all their seemingly informed comments they fear they cannot predict an election outcome better than the editorial board?
The prize and the bragging rights are out there. Who will seize them?
OK, so I'll be taking home all the bragging rights, but the prize is out there anyway.

QGuess I'm just more interested in and concerned about the outcome than guessing at it.
I don't mean this as a criticism of your contest, but the stakes are too high for our country, for me to view this election in the same way I would a football pool.
Which on-line and/or cable network do the RT editors think will have the best (i.e. timely, accurate, user friendly, non-biased) election night reporting model? Sorry, no valuable prize, I'm just curious.

C. TrejbalI don't have a feel for the 'best' coverage tomorrow night, but I'll be up past midnight watching results. Odds are I'll watch CNN and flip to the other channels during lulls, checking Fox News and the broadcast networks.
More important, I'll be sitting at the computer with tabs in firefox open to the state election board site and Montgomery County's site, the latter for results in the commonwealth's attorney race. I'll also be watching results come in from some other states in which I have a personal interest such as Oregon and Ohio.
[November 6, 2006 8:16 PM]
C. TrejbalI almost forgot. I'll also be tuning into any Indecision 2006 coverage on Comedy Central.

RJWebb is a Reagan guy, a former Secretary of the Navy and decorated veteran. A military scholar and distinguished author. A real leader. Allen is resorting to criticizing Webb for fiction that he wrote that happens to be on our US Military's recommended reading list! I'm going with the substance. No more rubber stamps for Bush for me.

Trent BrodkinI think it's kinda interesting that Allen has outspent Webb by about 2 to 1. http://www.nytimes.com/ref/washington/2006ELECTIONGUIDE.html?currentDataSet=senANALYSIS
That's a huge difference. And that's twice as many special interests Allen is going to have to pay back. I'm sick of our politicians selling us out for big fatcat donors.

JoshChristian,
No, it's because some us don't know anything about Montgomery County politics.

Sick and TiredMake sure you get out and Vote. The silent majority will win. Allen's words of wisdom to Maccaca was a public service.
