Central Academy clobbers Roanoke Catholic

mcbaneblog.JPG

Central Academy Middle School beat Roanoke Catholic Middle School soundly with a 44-0 victory which may be a record for the school. They played Friday afternoon before the varsity game between James River and Roanoke Catholic.

Michael McBane returned the opening kick-off for a TD

They looked awesome in the hot humid afternoon-- completely dominating play. Justin Stevers
and Sherman Austin acted as QB's for the Patriots. Stevers ran for a touchdown. Chris Moore ran for one, Michael McBane scored two on kick-off returns and Dylan Bryant scored 2 touchdowns as well. A well played game for the Patriots. Coach Tony Lewis was excited for his team and their season opener.
