James River volleyball JVs defeat Alleghany

bot_jamesriverjvvolleyballSMALL.jpg

It was a clean sweep for James River's two volleyball teams Thursday evening. The sports pages of this morning's Roanoke Times tell us the varsity team won three games to none.

Now we can report the junior varsity team won, as well -- 25-18, and 25-22

James River is in action next on Tuesday -- at home against the Floyd team the Knights defeated last week. Game time is 6 p.m. Check back here for a report.

As always, if you have news or photos involving teams or players from Botetourt County -- whether varsity, junior varsity, middle school or rec league -- you can share them at news@botetourtview.com
