Read Mountain wins in volleyball, falls in football

Athletic Director Vicki White sent in these scores.

"The Read Mountain Volleyball team came off a loss last week to triumph over the William Byrd Terriers winning three out of four games. Leading scorer for the Starz was Kallie Copper with 14 points. The Starz have a busy schedule this week playing today at Clifton Forge and tomorrow at Cave Spring. Go Starz!!"

"The Read Mountain Gray Football Team suffered a loss to Hidden Valley yesterday 20 to 16. Dajon Banister scored two touchdowns and the Starz defense held Hidden Valley to only one score in the second half. Clay Gardener forced a fumble with a tackle on defense. The Gray Team plays Northside away next Monday at 4:45. Come join our Blue football team as they play Hidden Valley at Hidden Valley this Thursday, September 18."
