Mountain Magic in Fall this Saturday in Buchanan

Here's a reminder about Mountain Magic In Fall…from the Town Improvement Committee:

Discover Small Town America

Introduce your family to history that they can see and touch as treasures from the past and present await your discovery in downtown Buchanan. Celebrate the unique qualities that can only be found in “small town America” during Buchanan’s fourteenth annual, Mountain Magic In Fall Bluegrass, Antiques and Crafts Festival. Join us on Saturday, October 4th from 10AM - 5PM.

Explore two centuries of history in Buchanan’s downtown buildings. Each is filled with mom & pop shops offering everything from antiques & art to furniture, collectibles, flowers and so much more. Locally owned restaurants offer burgers & fries, hearty Italian, fresh made pizza, homemade German and good old-fashioned southern cooking.

The musical heritage of the region lives on as Bluegrass musicians entertain crowds from Center Stage. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself joining in song and dance. Browse through dozens of traditional and contemporary craft booths and antique vendors lining Main Street to sell their wares.

Marvel at the beauty of machinery on display during this year’s Antique Auto and Tractor Show. Antique cars and tractors will line Main Street near Trinity Episcopal Church. Individuals as well as Auto Clubs travel from near and far to display their vehicles as part of the day’s activities.

Don’t forget to “save the date!” Buchanan invites you and your family to discover all the joys of “small town America” during our annual Mountain Magic In Fall Festival.
