Lord Botetourt FFA Chicken BBQ will benefit new BBQ shack
Every year many groups use the Chicken BBQ shack at Lord Botetourt to cook chicken for their organization's fund raiser. Last spring the school announced they would build a new BBQ shack down next to the Girl's softball field. The construction has begun, but the FFA needs funds to complete the project.
Stuart Byrd, the ag teacher and Warren Rhodes, a local helper for the club both said recently, "We hope that those in the community that use the BBQ shack for their fund raisers will help us raise our funds by buying tickets to the BBQ."
