Read Mountain Middle School wins first girls' basketball game

The Read Mountain Lady Starz won their season opener against the Cave Spring Squires on the road yesterday with a score of 43-18. Scoring big for the Starz was Kristen Toppel with 9 points supported by Meaghan Catron and Brooke Fuhrey with 8 points, Miriah Martin and Kennedi VanRavestein, both with five points and Alley Duvall with 4.

The Read Mountain Starz will play at home on Thursday at 6:15 against Franklin County. Come out and support the girls!
