Snow photo from near Fincastle

For those of you in southern Botetourt who didn't get any snow this morning, here's a view of a snow-covered mountain north of Fincastle along U.S. 220. This comes courtesy of weather journalist Kevin Myatt, who drove through Botetourt today en route to West Virginia to take a first-hand look at the 14 inches of snow that fell there in one part of Greenbrier County.

We posted some other snow photos from Botetourt earlier today. And if you have others, we'll still take 'em at news@botetourtview.com. For more on this morning's early snowfall around the Roanoke Valley, see this post on Kevin's Weather Journal blog.

He also has a new post about the 14 inches in Quinwood, West Virginia -- with photos!
