Update on Operation Warm Winter

Here is the newest update on Operation Warm Winter. They are now on days 2, 3 and 4. This is what Ray Sloan sent into us:

"After traveling over 1500 miles we arrived at our first site Sunday afternoon around 430pm Central Time. The Bear Soldier group met us at thier Blue Gym and we unloaded over 90 boxes there. We were greeted by the District President Doug Crow Ghost and our contact, Mrs. Donna Archembault. They began to open the boxes and sorting the clothing on tables for Natives to go through on Monday. On Day three (Monday 11/17/08 we made our precious deliveries to Little Eagle, SD; Bullhead, SD; and Fort Yates, ND. At Fort Yates we met up with Rev. Alex Sosa who went over some needs and concerns of his work there at the First Baptist Church of Ft. Yates. After seeing his place and his desire to serve we were again blessed to make this journey from the tears in his eyes and joy in his heart. He seemed overwhelmed for a while because we delivered the most boxes to him (over 89) Our cargo filled the back portion of his church. Today, Day Four, we are to go to our fifth site, Cannonball, SD, to deliver to Pastor Boots Marsh and his church, Tipi Wakan. After this delivery, we will making our way back home. Hopefully, we will drop off the Penske truck in Sioux Falls, SD and the trailer in Danville, Illinois. Harold Cook, Jerry Sweet, Bubby Entsminger and I thank you again for your many thoughts and prayers for us."
