Kiwanis meet at The Glebe every Friday at 7 a.m.
The Botetourt Kiwanis Club is an active civic organization. President Clarnece Renshaw energetically conducts meetings at the Glebe every Friday morning as the membership including many of Botetourt's movers and shakers perform service projects year round. The group invites interested parties to drop by a breakfast meeting and see what they do.
The Kiwanis website says, "Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders. Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities."
In Botetourt County the youth affiliated memberships are the Builder's Club on the middle school level and Key Club on the high school level.
