Trinity Episcopal Church makes and delivers Advent bags for area shut-ins.

Trinity Episcopal of Buchanan has church women that make Advent bags for shut-ins around Botetourt every year before the Christmas season. They spend the days before the first of the month trying to get the bags delivered. "A small gift is included for the person to open each day from December 1st through Christmas," said Gloria Carter a member of the church. Carter delivered a bag to a shut-in that lives in Cloverdale.
