Colonial Rock Climbing Wall Debuts
Colonial kids climb the wall!
Colonial has a climbing wall!!
Ms. Stafford's kindergarten class was the first to use the wall and P. E. Teacher, Mrs. Renaud, didn't waste any time as she assisted Colonial's youngest students. Acquiring the climbing wall was a real TEAM effort at Colonial. The approximate cost was a little over $3,000 and was paid for equally by the SCA, PTA and Colonial Staff. The PTA held their annual fundraiser, which paid $1,000. The SCA held a Dunk-A-Thon, where students raised pledges to tried to dunk the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Gould, and raised $1,000. The Colonial Staff held a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's and raised the remaining balance needed for the project.
