Possible call backs on Wednesday, January 21st; 7 PM
Location: D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Theatre (Attic’s theatre in Fincastle)
A Midsummer Night’s Scheme is a Shakespearian spoof that promises to be lots of fun. It requires a cast of approximately 25 actors. (For descriptions, click here.)
We ask that you bring a recent photo of yourself to attach to the audition form which you will complete at the audition. This will help our director put a name with your face.
She recommends you come dressed to move and play games. Our director also encourages you to prepare a nursery rhyme or short monologue to present during the audition process, but that is not required. There will be opportunities to read if you do not have something memorized.
Attic welcomes all who are interested in theatre to audition! This will be a fun show to be involved with. If you’re interested in helping with lights, sound or backstage, please let us know as well.
If you can’t attend the audition but are interested in setting up an alternate time for a private audition, please contact director, Peggey Rowland via e-mail at peggey@cox.net before the audition date. Plans are to cast the show quickly so rehearsals can begin ASAP afterward. Rehearsals are planned for three nights each week. (Please be prepared to note any dates you could not attend rehearsals and/or performances) Parents of actors cast in the show must be willing to assist with this production in some way (chaperoning, technical assistance, make-up, costumes, etc).
Take a chance and come out for this wonderful show!
