Wrestling Club at the Norfolk Event
A group shot from the Botetourt Wrestling Club of the wrestlers that attended the VAC Elementary and Middle School State Tournament in Hampton, VA on January 2-4. The Wrestling Club had six wrestlers place in the top eight of their weight class. In the Elementary Division, Nicholas Giantonio placed second. In the Middle School Division, Jonathan Winters, Seth Carlton and Dorian Giantonio placed eighth. Taylor Collins and Ike Podell both reached the finals and placed second.
This was the best results Botetourt Wrestling Club has ever had as a group. Coach Chip Nininger and Coach Stacy Anderson did an awesome job. If you need any more info from them, then please call Chip Nininger at 540-815-8895.
