Lord Botetourt girls basketball team coming up short in poll
Last week the Varsity Cast -- our weekly high school sports webcast -- posed this poll question: Who has the best Group AA girls basketball team in the region? Lord Botetourt? Salem? Blacksburg? Staunton River?
Well, after not quite a week of voting, Lord Botetourt isn't faring too well. As of this evening, the results are: Salem 54 percent, Staunton River 31 percent, Blacksburg 12 percent, Lord Botetourt 3 percent.
