Attic Productions, the community theater group in Botetourt, is currently rehearsing the show "Bubbles of Emotion," which runs Feb. 12-14 and 19-21 at the D. Geraldine Lawson Performing Arts Center just south of Fincastle.

We have a photo gallery from the show -- here, we see Leslie Harwood and Micah Crizer.

For ticket info, see the Attic website.

For more on the show, Attic sends this release:

Attic Productions, Botetourt’s Community Theater proudly announces the first play for 2009.

It is the World Premier of Jessie Brecks comedy “BUBBLES OF EMOTION”

What happens when your husband stands you up for lunch and leaves with a clerk from the local convenience store, and a small man with a gun, black eye and multiple scratches holds you up before you get home?? Well, if you are Junie, you take his gun and then haul him back home to patch him up. This is only the beginning of Junie’s problems in Jessie Breck’s hilarious comedy, where things gradually get out of hand causing Junie to experience little “Bubbles of Emotion”. Please join us for this funny and touching play that teaches us to believe in ourselves and in love.

Ticket Prices: Adults: $12.
Seniors and Students: $10.

Play dates: February 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21.

Show times: 7:30 PM nightly with Saturday matinees at 2:30 PM.

Seats are reserved and reservations may be made by calling 540-473-1001. The ticket office will be staffed Mondays and Wednesdays 3-7 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2 PM. If no one answers, please leave us your name and phone number and someone will call you back.
