The Lady Cavs played a tough Stuart's Draft team last night at the Cavalier Court. The Cougars from Stuarts Draft were primed for the game that never got beyond a five point lead on either side. The Lady Cavs lead up until the last seconds of the first half and trailed until the last three minutes of the game. McKenzie Tyree kept the Cavs in the game going six for six at the free throw line and Grace Blaylock kept the ball in action running from side to side and back and forth. She scored 10 points and two crucial three pointers in the second half and brought the Cavs back. While the field goal percentage was down and fouls were rampant among the Cavs, no player fouled out.
The Cavs won 50-46. They travel to Stuarts Draft for the Girl's region III Division 3 semi finals playoff on Friday night against Brookville. For pics of the game.
