Girl Scouts volunteer at Transitional Living Center

Eleven girls from Girl Scout Junior Troop 402 of Botetourt Service Unit volunteered at T.A.P’s Transitional Living Center on February 14th. The girls planned a Valentine's Party for the children at the shelter. The girls decorated goodie bags, planned crafts, games, and refreshments for the party. The girls enjoyed working with the children and learning about the services provided at the Transitional Living Center. Many of the girls plan to return to the shelter to work on other projects. The Girl Scouts in attendance were Madison Harris, Amanda Reid, Trista Voekler, and Miranda Watts, Caitlyn Stultz, Amber Auen, Stephanie Frame, Carly Sumpter, Hannah Snyder, Alisa Lumsden, and Savannah Lucas, and the troop’s leaders are Melissa Reid and Gail Staples.
