Round-up underway in Botetourt of 25 indicted on drug charges

The Botetourt Sheriff's Office has issued the following news release about a round-up of drug suspects underway:

Botetourt Roundup Underway Of 25 Indicted
On Variety of Drug-Connected Charges

Sheriff Ronnie N. Sprinkle announced Monday that his officers are completing a roundup of 25 individuals, 18 of them from Roanoke, who have been indicted on a variety of drug-connected charges by the March term Botetourt County Circuit Court grand jury. The sheriff said that the charges resulted from developments in ongoing investigations that had occurred since December. The officers also are executing court orders to seize nearly a dozen vehicles allegedly involved in drug transactions.

The sheriff said that the indictments included: Jennifer Ramsey Nicely, 33, of Buchanan, multiple charges of manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine; Michael Alan Tucker, 39, of Buchanan, manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine; David Wesley Bostic, 24, of Cloverdale, multiple charges of distribution of cocaine; David Allen Price, 26, of Cloverdale, distribution of heroin, distribution of prescription medications, and conspiracy; Aaron Neil Moody, 29, of Bedford, distribution of marijuana; Ricky Edwin Price, 50, of Cloverdale, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Cynthia Lynn Price, 46, of Cloverdale, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Justin Howard St. Clair, 19, of Fincastle, obtaining money by false pretenses (during a drug transaction); and James Donald Lipscomb, 43, of Bedford, distribution of marijuana.

The indictments involving Roanoke residents, Sheriff Sprinkle said, were: Kenneth Eugene Beck, 42, multiple charges of distribution of cocaine; Marcus Lamar Broady, 38, distribution of heroin and distribution of cocaine; James Kenneth Coles, 22, distribution of heroin and distribution of cocaine; Jackie Allen Bailey, 28, distribution of heroin and conspiracy; Alexandra Jade Yates, 26, distribution of heroin and conspiracy; Kristen Nicole Cooley, 20, distribution of ecstasy and distribution of LSD; Christopher Allen Gray, 32, obtaining money by false pretenses (during a drug transaction); Charles Lee Lovern, 36, distribution of methamphetamine; Rita Wimmer Reid, 52, distribution of cocaine and conspiracy; Steven Gray Reid, 53, distribution of cocaine and conspiracy; Dominick Cole McClelland, 18, distribution of cocaine; Rebecca Johnson, 30, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Jessica Stella, 38, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Jessica Brown, 22, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Monica Ownsby, 19, distribution of prescription medications and conspiracy; Xavier Barlow, 18, distribution of cocaine and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance; and Oscar Waters, 23, distribution of cocaine.

Sheriff Sprinkle said that Botetourt County officers were assisted in drug investigations by Virginia State Police agents.
