Botetourt results in the Cave Spring Knights Track Classic
JRHS Senior Davon Ross finished first in long jump in the Knights Classic at Roanoke College and qualified for state.
The Knights Classic event was held at Roanoke College this past Saturday:
Girls: Maribeth Kern, Alish McCrowey and the 4 x 4 team came in 3rd. Boys': Andy Broughman, Patrick Bennett, DaVon Ross placed in several events.
Voted most Valuable: DaVon Ross who placed first in the long jump. Alisha McCrowey and DaVon Ross have qualified for State.
From Lord Botetourt: Rick Alderman placed 6th in 110 high hurdles, 3rd in high jump, 4th in Long jump.
James River placed 7th overall and Lord Botetourt placed 18 overall.
