Sharron Smith of Fincastle will cheer at Radford University next fall!

Sharron C. Smith, a senior and cheerleader at James River High School, has been accepted into the Honors Academy for Radford University for the 2009-2010 school year. The Honors Academy of Radford University provides academic opportunities for motivated and intellectually mature students and recognizes outstanding student achievement. Sharron also attended cheerleading try-outs for Radford University on April 25, 2009 and was one of only two incoming freshmen to make the Highlander's cheerleading team. Sharron is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. She is the daughter of Timothy and Wanda Smith of Fincastle, VA. submitted by Wanda Smith
