The Poetry Corner begins just in time! The group is set to meet for the first time on May 18 at the Fincastle Library and on June 5, Mill Mountain Coffee shop at Botetourt Commons is having its first poetry slam. It's a Friday night and well, snaps all around! In case you didn't know when a crowd likes a poem presented orally, the fingers snap liberally for a few minutes ovation!
The Poetry Corner begins at 6 p.m.-8 p.m. this Monday night May 18, in the community room at the Fincastle Library. Sign-ups at the Library 473-8339. On June 5, get to Mill Mountain Coffee Shop early so the staff can preview the poetry for cleanliness and gentleness! Be ready to snap!
