Red Cross offers summer learn-to-swim program
Children and adults to learn the importance of water safety
Each summer, the Roanoke Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross offers learn-to-swim lessons. Classes are available for individuals 6 months of age through adults. The lessons are free; however, there is a $20 registration fee to offset the cost of pools, instructor wages and processing of paperwork. Sessions begin June 15 and run for two weeks. Each session lasts 30 minutes.
