Parks and Rec Fishing Carnival is June 6
This fellow came away with a nice trout in the fishing pond part of the carnival for smaller kids!
Voted one of the best events in the Best of Botetourt contest last month, Buchanan is once again hosting the 10th annual Fishing Carnival for kids aged 15 and under from 9 a.m. til 2 p.m. on Saturday June 6. The event is sponsored by Botetourt Parks and Recreation. Prizes and fishing will rule the day. Registration is the day of the event at the Carnival Grounds in Buchanan.
Various activities are held through out the day for children of all ages and exhibits will be onsite. Eureka in this economy-- it is free of charge so what better way to spend a Saturday with the family! For information call 473-8326.
