Troutville student receives law degree from Washington and Lee

Bridget M. Tainer-Parkins received the juris doctor degree Saturday, May 9, from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Tainer-Parkins was among 139 students receiving their J.D. and five students receiving their LL.M. during commencement ceremonies held on Washington and Lee University's historic Front Lawn.

While at Washington and Lee, Tainer-Parkins served as the secretary of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity and as executive editor of the Law Review Volume 66. She received her B.A. degree from Roanoke College in 2006.

Tainer-Parkins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Tainer of Troutville, Va.
