Springwood Baptist Church holds Vacation Bible School July 12-16
Hop aboard the Boomerang Express, and join Springwood Baptist Church on a trip "down under" to Australia without even leaving Botetourt County. How does one accomplish such a feat? Well, it's easier than you might think! Bring your family to Vacation Bible School at Springwood Baptist Church in Buchanan, Virginia during the week of July 12-16 from 6:30-9:00 P.M.Each night, classes will be offered from nursery through adults. Students will participate in worship and praise activities, Bible Study and Mission Study, an arts and crafts period, recreation, and snack time. All activities for the week will revolve around the theme of Australia. A nightly offering will be collected and donated to the Cooperative Program which supports missions and ministries in Virginia.
On the final night of Bible School, Thursday, July 16, participants will present a program to friends and family to show what they have learned throughout the week. Following this program, everyone is invited to attend an Ice Cream Social in the church pavilion.
