Fireworks in Fincastle and Buchanan July 4; parade in Buchanan, too

The annual 4th of July parade will take place on July 4 in the Town of Buchanan at 6 p.m. Line-up at 5 p.m. on the southside of Main Street. The Buchanan Carnival will have fireworks at 10 p.m. on the last night of the carnival and all of the major prizes including the $5,000 cash prize will be called out!

Fincastle will hold it's annual community Fireworks Saturday night at dark. The display is held on the athletic fields at Breckinridge Elementary School. Ice cream will be available through Lee Minnix and the Happy Truck in the parking lot. Bring a lawn chair and blankets for the kids. The display lasts about 30-40 minutes and is spectacular!
