Attic Productions holds auditions July 20

Kris Laguzza of Attic Productions sends the following audition notice:

Auditions will be held for Attic Productions' fall show "Moon Over Buffalo" at Attic's Theatre on Monday, July 20th at 6:00 PM. "Moon Over Buffalo" is a “backstage” farce, most of the action taking place in the Green Room. It includes such classic elements of farce as mistaken identities, broadly drawn characters, physical humor and a chase scene on and off stage with plenty of slamming doors. This show promises to be loads of fun for the actors as well as the audiences. Eight performances are scheduled for October 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17.

Roles are available for 2 Men (50+), 2 Men (20 to 30-ish), 2 Women (50+), 2 Women (20 to 30-ish). If you are in your 40’s and people exclaim about how young you look, come and audition! Those auditioning should come dressed comfortably and ready for movement. As always, previous theatre experience is NOT required!

If you cannot attend the scheduled audition and need to schedule an alternate audition time, you may call director, Trina Yancey at 540-529-1135. In addition to actors, people interested in working on set construction, as backstage workers for rehearsals/productions and as technical workers for lighting and sound are encouraged to attend the audition or contact the director.
