Photos: Botetourt American Minors All Star Team capture Sub-District Championship
The Botetourt American Minors All Star Team played 8 games -- winning 5 and losing 3 -- to capture the Dixie Youth Minors Sub-District championship before being eliminated during the District Tournament. The winner of the District Tournament will move on to play in The State Tournament. Botetourt opened Sub-District play beating Vinton, Mount Pleasant, Salem then dropping a game to Vinton only to come back to beat Salem and Vinton for the Sub-District Championship. Botetourt moved on to play in the District Tournament but met their match dropping games to Bedford Eastern and Bedford Metro ending their hopes to compete for the State Championship.
