Your online guide to the July 10 issue of The Botetourt View
We have so many photos this week from the Fourth of July festivities in Botetourt that, well, there's no way we can fit them all into print.
So we do the best we can (we still got two pages worth in print, plus the cover to make three pages in all) and share the rest here online. So when we say "for more photos, see the Notebook," well, this is exactly what we mean. Here you'll find additional photos from the events in Buchanan, Fincastle and Troutville. (This little girl at left was covering her ears at the parade in Buchanan -- too many sirens for her!) Plus, we have a second photo gallery from the parade in Buchanan.
Here's an easy way to find the other online extras we have for you this week:
* Botetourt needs cheerleading coaches
* Parks and rec offers self-defense classes for men and women
* Troutville rest stop closing now set for July 21
* Photos: Botetourt middle schoolers at Fox Island
* Photos of Botetourt people at Music for Americans
* Kids who “play safe” can win Subway coupon
* More paparazzi photos of Botetourt people at the Salem Red Sox
AND IN SPORTS . . .
* More photos of Botetourt players on the Virginia Attack baseball team vs. Staunton River and vs. Roanoke.
* More photos of TDAC Yankees vs. River Bandits
* More photos of the Botetourt American Legion vs. New River
