Area churches took turns feeding the children lunch at the "All Sports Camp" at Limestone Park

All week long 180 area kids have been playing sports and swimming at the 5th annual Limestone Park Ministries sports camp sponsored by the Botetourt Parks and Recreation Department, Buchanan Baptist Church and Mill Creek Baptist Church. Nine churches have provided meals and James River
High and Northside High athletes have participated as well as several college students. Coaches from CAMS and JRHS have also helped.

The kids have rotated through tennis, baseball, basketball, archery, swimming, cheerleading, gymnastics, basketball, soccer and football. J.R. Graybill who organized the camp is ecstatic that Johnny Shelton, the chaplain for the Tech football team, is bringing several players on Friday, July 24, the final day of the all sports camp.

Ministries across the area are offering free and low cost sports camps to encourage young people and offer an evangelistic message of God's love.
